Journal Medical Libanais (JML) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of editorial independence, scientific integrity, and transparency in all aspects of its publishing activities. The journal recognizes that advertising can provide financial support for scholarly publishing; however, commercial interests must never influence editorial decisions, peer review, or the publication of scientific content. Editorial content is developed independently of advertising, and all decisions regarding manuscript acceptance are based solely on scientific merit, originality, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope.

The journal maintains a clear distinction between editorial content and advertising. Advertisements are presented in a manner that allows readers to easily distinguish promotional material from peer-reviewed scholarly content. Under no circumstances will advertisements be integrated into or appear alongside scientific articles in a way that could create confusion or imply endorsement by the journal.

All advertisements submitted for publication are reviewed by the Editorial Office before acceptance. The journal reserves the right to reject, remove, or request modifications to any advertisement that is considered misleading, deceptive, offensive, discriminatory, or inconsistent with the mission, ethical standards, or professional reputation of the journal. Advertisements that promote illegal products or services, unverified medical treatments, pseudoscientific claims, tobacco products, recreational drugs, gambling, adult content, or any material that may endanger public health or violate applicable laws and regulations will not be accepted.

Advertisements relating to pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare services, laboratory equipment, educational programs, conferences, or other scientific products must comply with all applicable national and international regulations. Promotional claims must be accurate, evidence-based, and supported by reliable scientific information. Advertisers are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy, legality, and regulatory compliance of all advertising materials submitted to the journal.

The acceptance of an advertisement does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, certification, or guarantee by Journal Medical Libanais, its Editorial Board, editors, reviewers, publisher, or affiliated institutions regarding any advertised product, service, organization, or commercial entity. Readers are encouraged to independently evaluate any claims made within advertisements before making professional or clinical decisions.

Editorial decisions are made entirely independently of advertising revenue or commercial relationships. Advertisers, sponsors, and commercial organizations have no influence over manuscript submission, editorial assessment, peer review, acceptance, rejection, publication scheduling, or post-publication editorial actions. Editors, reviewers, and editorial staff are expected to disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest related to commercial entities and must not allow financial or personal interests to compromise editorial objectivity.

Sponsored content, if accepted, will be clearly identified as sponsored or promotional material and will not undergo the journal's peer-review process unless explicitly stated. Sponsored publications must fully disclose all sources of financial support and any potential conflicts of interest in accordance with the journal's editorial policies.

The journal reserves the right to discontinue, suspend, or remove any advertisement at any time if it is subsequently determined that the advertisement violates this policy, contains inaccurate or misleading information, conflicts with ethical publishing standards, or may adversely affect the reputation or credibility of the journal.

Journal Medical Libanais is committed to ethical scholarly publishing and follows the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). The journal also adheres to internationally accepted principles of transparency, editorial independence, and responsible publishing to ensure that commercial activities never compromise the quality, integrity, or credibility of the scientific record.
