The Lebanese Medical Journal (LMJ) is a fully Open Access journal committed to the unrestricted dissemination of scientific knowledge. All articles published in LMJ are made freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication, without subscription fees or access barriers.
LMJ believes that open access enhances the visibility, accessibility, and impact of research by allowing healthcare professionals, researchers, educators, policymakers, and the general public worldwide to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to published articles without financial, legal, or technical restrictions, provided that proper attribution is given to the original authors and source.
Authors retain the copyright of their published work. Upon acceptance and publication, authors grant LMJ the right to publish, archive, and disseminate their articles through its website and associated indexing and abstracting services.
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, reproduction, adaptation, and sharing of the work in any medium, provided the original author(s) and source are appropriately credited.
LMJ is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of published content. All articles are permanently archived on the journal’s website and may also be deposited in relevant repositories, indexing services, and digital preservation systems to ensure continued access and availability.
To support editorial management, peer review, production, online hosting, archiving, and open-access dissemination, LMJ charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 300 for accepted manuscripts. No submission fee is charged, and the APC is payable only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication.
